We continue through the month of February with more sparkling wine! We did this tasting with Always Five Star (Pam) and her husband, John, during our trip out to California. Their home on Seal Beach was our first stop in the state. And really who else would you expect us to drink sparkling wine with? I did a quick Google search and found out St. Andre cheese is a specific type of triple cream cheese that has a soft buttery texture, tangy edible rind, and tastes like an intense version of Brie. Thanks Wikipedia, now onto the wine.

We decided to go to The Wine Club (http://www.thewineclub.com/) for some wine tasting during our “Wine and Cheese” time this week. There was a little cheese there as a snack but we will just be discussing the wines for this entry. The Wine Club offers different tasting themes every Friday and Saturday; this week Spanish wines were being featured.
