This week we switched away from California wines to try out a chianti. Neither of us have ever tried this type of wine so we were pretty excited.
We decided to take our “first trip” out to some California wineries to celebrate our “first year” as a married couple. Some of the Livermore wineries were also celebrating Earth day with demonstrations and tours.
For this weeks pairing, we decided to increase our wine budget to see if we could notice any differences in the wine.
We consulted our handy list this week to find another white wine and found that it mainly has reds. No wonder we haven’t done much with white wine.
This week we deviated from our guide a bit. We had a bottle of Zinfandel that we had purchased to have with dinner during the week so we looked online to see what cheeses would compliment it.
